Blueberries

New Zealand blueberries are prospering due to interest in the health attributes associated with the blue pigments, and are being enjoyed around the world by many new consumers.

The globalisation of our blueberry cultivars continues with plants growing in 18 countries. ‘Nui’ is rated one of the leading tunnel house fresh market cultivars in Europe (and in New Zealand) and ‘Reka’ has become the second most popular processing cultivar in North America’s Pacific Northwest region.
